Ramz’ work is inspired by the idea that every human being possesses certain, inherent rights irrespective of nationality, race, sexual orientation, religious views and gender. We believe that the continuous recognition and relentless promotion of these human rights are necessary to create a greater understanding between cultures, nations, and ultimately people in today’s global society.
Using creative documentaries and shortfilm as a means to raise public awareness and to inspire civic engagement, Ramz is working with people, subjects, and perspectives that are oftentimes neglected by the mainstream media. There are important, thought-provoking stories world over – people’s experiences and messages - which we aim to communicate.
Ramz understands that good films about difficult subjects require the partnership of those closest to the issues. We believe that the expertise and consultancy provided through partnerships with human rights organisations alike help us to better our understanding of different social realities and to make credible and accurate films. We are also convinced that such partnerships broaden the outreach of our films.
Although based in Scandinavia, Ramz is not bound to any specific geographic area. We are operating in different areas of the world depending on the subject matter and project at hand.
